Hon. Secretary Rtn. Rahul Khandekar: 1. Cumulative attendance for the Month of September is 49.4 percent. 2. Papers related to Preparation & Finalisation of Balance sheet have been handed over to CA Vasudeo Yadwad (Damle & Yadwad Chartered Accountants) , his office has received the same and is under process. Finalization is yet to be done. Hon Treasurer Rtn. Pradeep Kulkarni : 1. Majority of Members have Paid Full fees or 1st Half Yearly fees as well as Trust fees, Pradeep will follow up with the remaining members who are yet to pay the fees & update accordingly. 2. The formalities for change of signatories to be expedited by Rtn.Rahul Khandekar and Rtn. Pradeep Kulkarni. 3. It was decided that the various committees should follow the protocol of getting approval for the expenses made from the respective director and then only to be presented to the Hon. Treasurer for reimbursement or recordkeeping. The BOD approval will be necessary only if it exceeds the budget provision. HON.TREASURER’S REPORT- PERIOD 30/08/2024-28/09/2024 Highlights : 1. Sushma Kulkarni : Rtn Sushma has briefed on all the Projects that have been completed so far and projects which are in pipeline, The details of the same were shared & discussed in BOD :- Completed projects • Tree Plantation 01.07.2024 • Teacher’s Training in the month of July & August Study Skill workshop in the month of July & August Chhatra chhaya project 16.08.2024 On 02.09.2024 inaugurated 3 adult literacy centers at borghar ambegaon remote inside for adiwasi vasti. On 03.09.2024 our club as formed RCC of teachers at Nanda deep education Society Pune. President Manish Didmise, PP.Prashant Siddha, Rtn. Pramod Jejurikar, President Manish Didmise, Rtn. Sushma Kulkarni, Rtn. Suhas Patwardhan, Rtn. Hemchandra Date, Partner Umesh Kulkarni. Congrats and special thanks to Rtn. Ujwal Tawde, Rtn. Urmila Haldankar, Rtn. Vishal Sardeshpande, Partner Umesh Kulkarni and entire team of RCPK. Upcoming TB Erradicstion project. Amol presented update and progress relating purchase of portable X-Ray machine suitable for TN detection with high accuracy. Four major decisions were made as follows; Amol and his team has been empowered to make final machine selection, including price negotiation. Target completion Sept 27th 2024. Our fund availability is expected to be around Rs 28-30 lacs. Enough to purchase two machines + extra. We will plan to donate nutrition food to at least 50 patients at the cost of Rs 600/ person/ month. 600x6x50 = 1.8 lacs. A). Hearing aid - Poornima Deo B). The inauguration function published in number of local newspapers as well as newspapers published from Pune. 2) We have displayed the work of RCPK I respect of community projects, social activities and contribution for the social cause through banners . The banners were displayed at 10 Ganesh Mandals across the city during Ganesh Festival. The inauguration of banners display at Pune’s main Akhil Mandai Mandal was at the hands of District governor. This innovative activity of Public Image received wide publication resulting in enhancing image of Rotary as well as of our club and also appreciated by one and all. The principals of our Interact Club schools, Mrs. Ingulkar of Shishuvihar, Mr. Kinger of Erandvana school and Mrs. Antre of Darode school were invited on 4th Sept’24 in the weekly program to talk about the New National Education Policy 2024. They were also felicitated on the occasion of Teachers’ day next day on 5th Sept. Prashant Siddha: a) PP Rtn Prashant has assisted the president and the Board of Directors wherever and whenever required. b) He has done his best to enhance image of Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud wherever possible. c) He is always available for any kind of assistance. d) Polio , awaiting guidelines. Once receive will plan in line with it Club Trainer : PP Rtn Satyajit Chitale : He was satisfied with the way things are happening in general. No other points for discussion. Observers’ Remarks:- Rtn Heramb Rasal : He was satisfied with the way the Rotary Year has 2024-25 started for RCPK & working of BOD Members in general. Rtn Heramb has been instrumental in GG Project and has extended his help to the current Board. Rtn Poorniam Deo : Rtn Poornima has expressed her satisfaction on the progress the way the Board has been functioning , at the same time she herself is actively involved in CSR Projects for this Year. Closing remarks by President: Rtn Manish thanksed all the committees members for working hard and giving their best for the Club. He also discussed the plans what he has in mind for the next quarter. He also mentioned that for doing Projects / Activities there is enough help available within the club. President Manish thanked all the BOD members for their active participation.
