Secretary Rtn. Rahul Khandekar: 1. Cumulative attendance for the Month of August is 49.4 percent. 2. Papers related to Preparation & Finalisation of Balance sheet have been handed over to CA Vasudeo Yadwad (Damle & Yadwad Chartered Accountants) , his office has received the same and is under process. Hon Treasurer Rtn. Pradeep Kulkarni : 1. Majority of Members have Paid Full fees or 1st Half Yearly fees as well as Trust fees, Pradeep will follow up with the remaining members who are yet to pay the fees & update accordingly. 2. The formalities for change of signatories to be expedited by Rtn.Rahul Khandekar and Rtn. Pradeep Kulkarni 3. It was decided that the various committees should follow the protocol of getting approval for the expenses made from the respective director and then only to be presented to the Hon. Treasurer for reimbursement or recordkeeping. The BOD approval will be necessary only if it exceeds the budget provision. Director Club Administration : Rtn. Gayatri Ladkat : Programs & Fellowship Committee have already lined up weekly programs & are conducted as per timelines.Post shravan the weekly meeting will again be held on Tuesdays as per schedule . As part of this initiative, the club distributed umbrellas to 20 needy vendors, aiming to bring a positive change in their lives. The event was attended by club President Manish Didmish, PI Director Rtn. Hemchandra Date, Rtn. Suhas Patvardhan, Past President Prashant Siddh, Rtn. Ratnakar Naragilkar, and club’s Service Project Director Rtn. Sushma Kulkarni. The initiative was carried out across various parts of the city. This effort provided significant yet essential assistance to impoverished and needy vendors. By distributing umbrellas, the club aimed to add comfort to the daily lives of these vendors. The Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud's initiative has been welcomed at all levels, highlighting a greater awareness of social responsibility and the commitment to extending a helping hand to the underprivileged in society. Upcoming Anemia Test Cherry Blossom: Test” for Anemia Identification and Prevention To check HB Level, provide Iron Tablets, Repeat Checking after 3 months. Actual cost is more than Rs 175/- per child but club shall pay Rs 100/- only. This is only Testing cost medicine cost will be 50 to 60 Rs. Minimum 100 beneficiaries to be checked by club. Then GG team can again coordinate with RC Bridgeport for this year new GG and its funding from international club. 4. About Happy School - our team will talk with deserving school for new grant. We can initiate further action plan with these schools. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Committee Fund Raising & CSR Chairperson – PP Rtn Ravi Kulkarni Aug 22, 2024 Attendees; Manish Didmishe; Gayatri Ladkat; Sushma Kulkarni; Umesh Kulkarni; Alka Kulkarni; Ravi kulkarni; 1) Goal of the meeting was to capture all potential projects that are been planned to be executed during the current year 2024-25 and summarize for ready reference and effective execution. Following are the minutes; 2) Sushma presented list of projects along with their brief description. There are total 20 projects requiring Rs 107 lacs. 3) Ravi summarized these projects in a master sheet covering all major items such as project chairman; team members; timing; fund requirement; project description, location etc. 4) This included projects that are addition to that in Sushma list and subtraction of projects that does not need funds. Thus the project number changed to 17. 5). It was noted that we need to do some more home work to complete and fill up all item in the list. 6). Sushma will work with other zrotary members to complete the needed details, including identification of remaining chairman, team players etc. This will be done by 28th Aug 7). It was widely published in local news papers and photos and paper cuttings were circulated on the group. 2) District originated Chatra Chhaya project providing Chhaya Chatrya to 20 needy vendors .The distribution was arranged at the campus of Date Mandap Contractors. It was also published in the local newspaper. Plans for Sept. 24: Proposed to display Banners of RCPK at 10 Ganesh Mandals in prominent localities in Pune in the ensuing Ganesh Festival. The banners will highlight the work/community projects and other social work carried out by the club for the last 35 years. The same will also be publicised on a large scale . Col. Kalyani Deshpande, Commanding training battalion in BEG interacted with the students (5th to 10th grade) and gave valuable guidance on how one can choose and pursue a career in Indian Army. He has suggested to take a updated Report from the Trust on the Payments done towards the Projects etc. Rtn Dr Amol Gautam : He expressed his satisfaction on the progress the way the Board has been functioning. Closing remarks by President: Rtn Manish mentioned is pleased to see across all the committees are working hard and giving their best for the Club.
